This is such a nice set with an impressive variety of jewelry!The set arrived very quick. A plastic zipper (jewelry) bag contained a super soft, velvety pouch -complete with a metal snap closure. The pouch is not your standard, budget pouch, rather it’s thick and very well made- perfect for keeping all the goodies inside. There was also a nice sized cleaning cloth (folded and in a sealed bag) as well as a Thank You card with instructions on the back for the threadless pieces. Then, a smaller plastic jewelry bag (and some other bags inside that one) holds all the different pieces. Everything was clean and looked brand spanikin’ new upon arrival, but (and this goes without saying) I clean them before-and after- use.I’m going to deviate there for a moment because this is not the first nose ring ‘set’ I have acquired from Amazon. In the past 10 years or so I think I’ve ordered maybe a dozen (or more) sets like this or single nose rings. I probably kept 2 or 3 of those other orders (which were all single pieces- not sets) because most of them were complete and utter junk. I’ve never had success with a set like this and I almost wrote them off as a bargain bundle of pieces that can’t be sold on their own for whatever reason. That was in the back of my head when I ordered this, but I HAD TO give this one last try- and I’m so glad I did because this set is totally LEGIT!Starting with the size-I ordered the 18g set and I received an 18g set! These fit my piercing perfect and don’t fall out.The listed measurements are all accurate and (almost) every piece is the size it’s supposed to be. I say ‘almost’ because I think that just one of the threadless pieces might me a 20g, but I’m not complaining.This set is NOT filled with pieces that are too small to see or even handle and I love the variation in gem size.Now, one of the hoops is super tiny (the 6mm). That is accurately listed in the description so again I’m not complaining, rather I’m having a hard time thinking about what it would fit on. Either way- everything is here and proper.As far as the material goes-The product description and the bag both state that this set is 14K gold filled.I ordered the silver set (and I don’t expect it to be gold filled) so I can’t comment on whether or not the gold set actually IS gold filled. I CAN say that the silver set is great quality surgical stainless steel though. I can tell the quality by looking at the color (clean, bright but not white), the fact that these don’t tarnish or get dark and dingy looking AND because my body (which is so freaking sensitive!) doesn’t reject these.The 316L stainless steel is very studry and not easy to bend/break. For review purposes (and because I now have a few extra!) I tried to break one of the curl rings. I was unable to damage it with my hands alone (I tried) and it was even a bit difficult when I got the pliers involved. With the pliers though, I was able to bend the post, over and over again, until it finally broke. Now, the acrylic pieces are also sturdy, but I feel like the pliers would break one of them immediately. Bare hands or a drop though- not so much. I can also attest to the fact that the gems stay in place (I haven’t had one fall out) and the hoops are easy to open and stay closed.The threadless pieces are something new for me.They are…different, and take a minute to get used to, but I like them- a lot. I actually wish I had these years ago when my daughter was a toddler because she loved to pull my nose ring out. The straight studs come out very easy and even the L shaped and curl pieces can come out easy too. The threadless pieces though- they are not coming out without a bit of effort. I actually got a little scared when I tried to take the first one out because I thought it was stuck- so I panicked. After reading the tiny print about removal on the card that came with these and watching some videos, I got it out, without an issue. Once you get the hang of them, they are pretty easy (and they CAN be reused too!). They are pretty useful if you are in a situation where your piercing could come out (like if you have a toddler obsessed with grabbing on it) or if you are playing some type of sport or whatever. They are super secure.I am really VERY impressed with this set! So much so that I immediately came back and ordered a second set. You can NOT beat the price, especially with the quality. Seeing how I have had nothing but bad luck in the past, I see this set as a total LOTTO WIN!
