Full Cheek Elliptical Snaffle This Full Cheek Elliptical Snaffle has an elliptical link which is better suited to the shape of the horse’s mouth. The elliptical link reduces the amount of tongue pressure associated with the jointed mouths and encourages the horse to accept the bit. The full cheek prevents the bit from being pulled through the horse’s mouth. The mouthpiece cannot be turned over in the horse’s mouth while at work when used correctly with fulmer keepers. The full cheek provides more lateral control by creating light pressure on the horse’s cheeks. This bit is allowed for dressage.
