Relatively small and lustrous, the three to five lobed grey/green leaves have bold yellow margins, giving them a luminous appearance, especially in shadier spots. This versatile evergreen climber is ideal for covering unsightly walls or fences. To avoid dry conditions and ensure good soil contact around the rootball, we recommend planting climbers at least 30cm (12in) preferably 45–60cm (18-24in) away from the base of a wall or fence. Allow even more space when planting near an existing tree or shrub. Plant in a sunny, sheltered site, protected from cold, drying winds. Water regularly during the growing season.
