We are really excited by this new addition to our range. Our first baking was a delicious quick soda bread which had a sweet and nutty flavour and it was consumed in one session! Our stone-milled barley flour can be used on it’s own or mixed with our other flours to make a tasty sour-dough or yeast risen loaf, or used to thicken sauces as an alternative to wheat. Experiment with it for cakes, biscuits and pancakes and let us know what you think. It can also be used to make Talbina, a traditional middle-eastern porridge, delicious and nutritious for breakfast. This 500g pack makes a good starter, and we now have larger quantities available here.
